Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: POLYMER- BASED NANOCOMPOSITE IS COMMONLY DEFINED AS THE COMBINATION OF A POLYMER MATRIX AND ADDITIVES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ON DIMENSION IN THE NANOMETER RANGE. EPOXY RESINS HAVE BEEN WIDELY STUDIED AS A POTENTIAL MATRIX FOR CNT-BASED NANOCOMPOSITE DUE TO THEIR WIDE RANGE OF INDUSTRIAL USES [1]. VARIOUS TYPES OF ORGANIC AND CERAMIC BASED FILLERS WERE ADDED TO EPOXY MATRIX IN ORDER TO IMPROVE ITS THERMAL DEGRADATION PROPERTIES. IN THE PRESENT WORK, THE CAPABILITY OF MWCNT-ZNO NANOHYBRID AS POTENTIAL FILLER TO MODIFY THERMAL DEGRADATION BEHAVIOR OF EPOXY RESIN IS REPORTED.
