Abstract

 A SPECIALLY DEVELOPED PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR PE-HD (HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE) IS DISTINGUISHED FROM PREVIOUSLY KNOWN PROCESSES BY ITS HIGH FLEXIBILITY AND VERSATILITY IN THE MANUFACTURE OF MULTIMODAL PRODUCTS. WITH THIS PROCESS, THE PROPERTIES OF PE-HD CAN BE MATCHED TO THE PLANNED APPLICATION. THE EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE OF TRIMODAL PE-HD PRODUCTS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE THREE DIFFERENT POLYMER FRACTIONS ALL FORM ON THE SAME CATALYST PARTICLE; AS A RESULT, THE THREE POLYMER FRACTIONS ARE VERY HOMOGENEOUSLY MIXED WITH EACH OTHER RIGHT FROM THE START. AND FACTUAL ABSTRACT IS REQUIRED.
