Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: DOPING CARBON NANOTUBES BY SIO2 AS A SEMICONDUCTORS INCREASES THEIR PERMEABILITY AND ANOTHER WAY TO IMPROVE ABSORPTION PROPERTY OF CARBON NANOTUBES [1-2]. SILICON DIOXIDE IS A POPULAR SEMICONDUCTOR WITH FREE CARRIER OPTICAL ABSORPTION EFFECT IN MICROWAVE REGION [3]. THEREFORE, SIO2 WAS COMMONLY INTRODUCED INTO THE MATCHING LAYER OF ABSORBENT TO IMPROVE MATCHING IMPEDANCE AND PROVIDE TUNNELS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES [4-5].IN THIS WORK, FE3O4DECORATED MWCNT WAS PREPARED USING THE WET CHEMICAL METHOD AND THEN COATED WITH DIFFERENT LAYER OF SIO2 BY A SOL-GEL PROCESS.
