Abstract

 THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO INVESTIGATE OF MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLE AND MAGNETIC FIELD ON MEMBRANE FILTRATION PERFORMANCE. THEREFORE, MAGNETIC NANOCOMPOSITE MEMBRANES FABRICATED VIA BLENDING MAGNETIC FE3O4 NANOPARTICLE WITH POLYMERIC MATRIX. THE MICROSTRUCTURE OF NEAT AND NANOCOMPOSITE MEMBRANE OBSERVED BY SEM IMAGES. THE FILTRATION EXPERIMENTS SHOWED THAT NANOPARTICLE PRESENCE COULD IMPROVE MEMBRANE WATER FLUX. MOREOVER, APPLICATION OF MAGNETIC FIELD CAN INCREASE MEMBRANE WATER FLUX.
