Abstract

 INTRODUCTION: RECENTLY, GRAPHENE WITH ONE-ATOM-THICK LAYER TWODIMENSIONAL STRUCTURES IS EMERGING AS A UNIQUE MORPHOLOGY CARBON MATERIAL WITH GREAT POTENTIAL FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL ENERGY STORAGE DEVICEAPPLICATIONS DUE TO ITS OUTSTANDINGPROPERTIES INCLUDING CHEMICAL TOLERANCE, HIGH SURFACEAREA, GOOD ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY, AND OPEN POROUS STRUCTURE [1–2].IN THIS WORK, WE PREPARED A THIN FILM OF GRAPHENE OXIDE (GO) ON STAINLESS STEEL (SS) BY ELECTROPHORETICDEPOSITION (EPD) METHOD. GO FILM WAS REDUCED ELECTROCHEMICALLY. REDUCED GRAPHENE OXIDE (RGO) FILM SHOWS A NEAR IDEAL RECTANGULAR BEHAVIOR IN NA2SO4. THE HIGH SPECIFIC CAPACITANCE OF 185 FG -1 IS OBTAINED FROM CYCLIC VOLTAMMETRY MEASUREMENT AT A SCAN RATE OF 10 MV S-1.
