Abstract

 Β-LACTOGLOBULIN BINDS RETINOL WITH HIGH AFFINITY AT 25OC AND NEUTRAL PH. IMMOBILIZATION OF THIS PROTEIN ON IRON OXIDE NANOPARTICLE CAUSES TO RISE ITS AFFINITY TO BIND RETINOL. NUMBER OF BINDING SITES REMAIN NEARLY 1, IN THE PRESENCE AND ABSENCE OF NANOPARTICLE. THE INCREASE IN THE AFFINITY OF THE PROTEIN FOR BINDING RETINOL IN THE PRESENCE OF NANOPARTICLE REPRESENTS SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN SECONDARY AND TERTIARY STRUCTURES OF PROTEIN WITHOUT CHANGE IN THE NUMBER OF BINDING SITES.
