Abstract

 DURING RECENT TWO DECADES, SEMICONDUCTOR NANOCRYSTALS (NCS) HAVE GENERATED GREAT RESEARCH INTEREST DUE TO THEIR UNIQUE OPTICAL PROPERTIES ORIGINATING FROM SIZE QUANTIZATION EFFECT [1]. SINCE KHOSRAVI ET.AL REPORTED THE NOVEL PROPERTIES IN NANOSIZED ZNS DOPED WITH MN+2 AND CU+2 IONS [2, 3], MANY STUDIES HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED ON 3D TRANSITION-METAL IONS SUCH AS MN2+, CO2+, NI2+ACTIVATED IIVI NANOMETER SCALE SEMICONDUCTOR MATERIALS [4-7]. WE HAVE ATTEMPTED A STUDY ON LUMINESCENCE OF MN DOPED ZNS NAOPARTICLES AND BRIEFLY, THE MECHANISM OF ENERGY TRANSFER IS DISCUSSED. COLLOIDAL DOPED-ZNS NANOPARTICLES WERE SYNTHESIZED ACCORDING TO OUR PREVIOUSLY WORK [2-7].
