Abstract

 The purpose of this study, done in 2011, was to examine the relationship between PROCRASTINATION and SELF-ESTEEM with ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION of female high-school STUDENTS. The method of the research was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population was all the high-school female STUDENTS (6000), out of which 255 were selected as sample size through multi-stage random sampling. The data were collected through the three standard questionnaires namely, Coppersmith SELF-ESTEEM, Tuckman PROCRASTINATION and Herman ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION. To analyise the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used: The pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression, Spss software. The results showed that there was no significant difference between PROCRASTINATION and SELF-ESTEEM with ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION. There was a significant difference between SELF-ESTEEM and ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION. Regression analyise showed that SELF-ESTEEM had more predictable power for ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION.
