Abstract

 The aim of this article is to measure amount of internalization of“ETHICS OF SCIENCE” among postgraduate students and to study roles of structural, action an relational factors in it. The theoretical model of this article emphasizes on three different factors: structural factors (e. g. exertion of deterrent or facilitating control on educational processes of ETHICS OF SCIENCE, ETHICS OF SCIENCE among professors, professor’s CULTURAL CAPITALs and academic culture), action factors (student’s capacity to accept the authority of scientific norms and their EDUCATIONAL MOTIVES) and relational factors (scientific networks among professors and students). The population was all postgraduate students of three branches in Islamic Azad University and the sample was 580 of them. Sampling method was “un-proportional stratified sampling”. A questionnaire was used to gather data. The results of examining the theoretical model by ‘Structural Equation Models” showed that the ETHICS OF SCIENCE among students is affected, at first, by structural factors and, secondly, by relational factors. The effect of action factors, among other factors, is small on ETHICS OF SCIENCE.
