Abstract

Introduction: The aim of this research was to compare the effectiveness of progressive RELAXATION and PERIODIC VISUAL STIMULATION on depth of RELAXATION.Methods& materials: This experimental study was conducted on 40 STUDENTS of managemet faculty of allameh tabatabaee university. Method of sampling was Random cluster sampling. Sample group was 2 classes of freshmen STUDENTS of management faculty of allameh tabatabaee university whom were randomly selected from 4 classes of freshmen STUDENTS. Before and after intervention, blood pressure and heart rate of subjects of both groups were taken. Data was analysed by covariance analysis with SPSS v15 sotfware. Results: Results showed that there were no difference between depth of RELAXATION (blood pressure and heart rate) of two groups. Conclusion: According to results of this research, we can use PERIODIC VISUAL STIMULATION instead of depth of RELAXATION.
