The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive and systematic framework for the ethical competence of university managers. The method of this research was qualitative with Meta-Synthesis method. The library method is used for collecting data the research community was scientific resources related to the ethical competence of managers (academic). In order to conduct research after designing the research question, a systematic search based on the keywords of: Ethical competencies, professional competence, the competence of managers (academic) from the internal databases of the scientific information database (SID), Noormags, Magiran, The Comprehensive Human Resources Portal (Ensani), Tehran University's thesis and ganj-beta, and foreign databases such as Scholar. google, Elsevier, Proquest, have been used about 20 years ago. By reviewing 55 sources from 2380 primary sources, three main components and 54 sub-components were referred to as Ethical competency in various internal and external researches. The findings show that the fundamental dimensions of ethical competencies of managers include: 1. Individual ethical competency, 2. Interpersonal ethical competency, 3. Sub-individual Ethical competency.
