Abstract:

Abstract:

Lack of exact knowledge about internal human resource potentials is a widespread organizational problem. Organizations seek to hire experienced managers from outside their firms; whereas, paying a closer optimistic attention to the human resources present inside the firm reveals the fact that there are quite capable human resources present inside the organization who might be able to help the organization reach its goals even better than those from outside. This study aimed to design a fuzzy multi-criteria decision making model for manager replacement in Transportation Organization throughout the country. To this aim, managerial competence criteria were identified through literature review, library studies and Kruskal Walice and binomial statistical tests and the ratio test of social success. Then the sub-criteria weight was determined by weighted mean and criteria weight was determined by AHP technique. Finally a fuzzy multi-criteria model was developed by which candidates for management positions were ranked.

Abstract:

Is the value of the firm facing financial constraints reflected in its stock market? This is the question present study aimed to answer. Therefore, based on observable characteristics related to financial constraints, a portfolio of manufacturing companies, registered in Tehran stock exchange, was formed, and yearly return of each firm was determined. Then the KZ index was localized and its value for each company during each year between 1993 and 2003 was also determined. Findings showed a correlation between financial constrain, as a dependent variable, and stock return; whereas no correlation was observed between different levels of financial constrain and stock return in companies accepted to Tehran Stick Market.

Abstract:

The present research aimed to investigate the relationship, if any, between teacher’s job satisfaction and their organizational commitment. To this aim, 331 teachers were selected through cluster sampling. Data were collected using Wysocki and Krumm job satisfaction questionnaire as well as Movady, Steers and Porters organization Questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed using one-sample Kolmogrov-Smirnov Test, Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient, and step by step multivariate regression analysis. The results supported all hypothesis of the research.

Abstract:

Dynamic organization management, solving complex and unstructured organizational problems, and management of ever-increasing changes and dynamisms in organizational environments requires knowledge, capacity and skill of a group of managers and experts who are to make timely, appropriate and quality decisions for the organizational excellence and competitive advantage. Group decision making is a process in which managers’ and experts’ knowledge, experitse, and skill as well as their different approaches altogether result a synergy which would enable the company to make high quality decisions. However group decision making, due to its characteristics, often brings about negative results. Scholars and authorities in different scientific areas have devised different conceptual and multi-criteria models and have used different methods and techniques so as to improve the quality of group decision making. This research aimed to design a model more comprehensive than previously designed ones so as to improve the efficiency of group decision making. Finally through regression and path analysis, the final model for efficiency improvement of group deccision making was designed. This model is tested and approved by Iranian communication research center which is an R&D organization composed of evaluation groups and in charge of approving research projects.

Abstract:

Captial market plays an important role in economy, and is known as an economy health index. Therefore it is essential to study this market and its decision making basis especially in Iran. Financial statements in general and general statement in particular are the key factors of decision making in this market. Income statement shows the net income of a financial period. It is also the principal basis for decision making, evaluation model, and stock princing. Its precision, accuracy, reliability and predictability have a direct relationship with decision making precision. But weakness in income measurement process as well as employing weak accounting procedures, estimations, predictions and smoothing threaten decision making role of income statement. Analysis of earning quality, in academic literature, is one of the important procedures for decreasing the above-mentioned threat. There is no perfect definition for earning quality. But risk reduction is directly related to cash realization, solvency, conservatism, precision of measurement and predictions, predictability, normal consistency, and persistence of reported income. This survey analyzing all of the earning quality indices indicated by other researchers and found that, there is a significant relationship between indices of gross profit, sales management expenses, return on capital employed and cash realization with stock returesn. But according to the research results, no significant relationship was observed between indices of receivabel accounts, accruals, productive asset reinvestment ratio, un-operational income, conservatism, operating cash flow, EPS to PEPS ratio, and inventory with stock returns.

Abstract:

This study aimed to trace and explore employability of students graduated from Shahid Chamran, Lorestan, and Ilam Universities during 1997-2001. To this aim we used revised version of weberian theory stated by Brown and Scace. Through descriptive (tracing) research method, views of 1800 graduate students from the schools of engineering, agriculture, pure science, veterinary, and humanities were gathered. The results showed that: 1) Graduates’ employment problem has reached a critical state; 2) There is a mismatch between labor market requirements and the education and skills offered by universities; 3) The findings were in accord with the results found by Brown and Scace theory concerning the new obligations of labor market in developing countries. However it is recommended that universities make a reform in their educational system as well as focusing on employability skills such as methodology, entrepreneurship, communication, and information about labor market opportunities in regional and national levels.
