Abstract:

The purpose of present study was investigating the relationships between forgiveness, perfectionism and intimacy with marital satisfaction in injured veterans and their spouses in city of Ahvaz. The sample existed of 600 persons (300 injured veterans and 300 spouses) which selected through cluster random sampling in 1389. Family Forgiveness Questionnaire, Ahvaz Perfectionism Scale, Intimacy Scale and Marital Satisfaction Questionnaire were used for collecting data. This study was a correlation research and results indicated that there were significant positive correlation between forgiveness and marital satisfaction (r=0.49). Also there was positive correlation between intimacy and marital satisfaction (r=0.27) and negative correlation found between perfectionism and marital satisfaction (r=-0.24). Funding suggested that there was multicorrelation between variables and forgiveness was the most predictive variable for marital satisfaction. The significant level in this study was p<0.0001.

Abstract:

The main objective of this study was evaluate the effect of emotional intelligence training on reducing aggression and increasing individual-social adaptability in second year high school female students of Ahvaz. This Experimental study dealt with pre-test- post-test control group design. The study population included all second year high school students of Ahvaz. The study was carried out on 60 students of the study population, who were selected by multistage randomized sampling method and were divided into the two experimental groups, 30 students in each group. Before carrying out the experimental intervention (presentation of the independent variable), the two groups were giving the per-test using California Personality Inventory (CPI), aggression questionnaire (AGQ), and Petrides and Furnham's Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. Then, students of the experimental group attended ten 90-minutes training sessions of emotional intelligence techniques. One week after the intervention, the two groups were post-tested using CPI, AGQ, and petrides and Furnham's Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. Data were analyzed through using MANOVA method (multivariate analysis of covariance). Results of the study indicated that training the emotional intelligence skills will lead to reduce aggression and increase individual-social adaptability of female students, compared with the contorol group.

Abstract:

This research was to examine the effects of two thrapy methods: multi sensory and perceptual-motor on reduction of dysgraphia in girls and boys students who were on the second and third class of Dezfull elementry school. Subjects included 84 student (28 subjects for multi sensory mothod, 28 subjects for perceptual-motor method and 28 subjects for control group), whom were selected randomly. Research desing was experimental (pre-test and port-test with experimental and control group). Research instruments included Raiven Prograssive Matrices test & spelling test. The subjects school records were also considered. Process of the research was upon identification of students whose 25 percent if their words in spelling test were incorect. Analysis factorial variance showed that both thrapy mrthods: multi sensory and perceptual-motor, for two experimental groups with compare to control group reduced dysgraphia.

Abstract:

This study has examined the effect of Structural Family Therapy through Group Methods in Reducing Marital Conflicts among Couples Referred to Council for Disagreement Solution (CDS) in Baghmalek. The sample included 30 couples who were randomly selected from among the volunteers referred to Council for Disagreement Solution (CDS) and whose scores were one standard deviation above the mean. They were assigned to experiment and control groups. The participants were married for at least two years and had children. In this study, the structural family therapy was considered to be the independent variable and marital conflict as dependent variable. First, both experimental and control group took part in a pretest. Then during 10 sessions experimental groups were instructed and then the posttest was administered. After about 5 weeks, the follow up test was given. The instrument in this study was Marital Conflict Questionnaire (MCQ). The results derived from multivariate analysis of covariance showed that structural family therapy reduces the marital conflicts among couples in experimental group comparing to control group. Level of significance in this study was p<0.001.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to comparison of Organisational Citizenship Behaviours (OCBs) and Counterproductive Work Behaviours (CWBs) among Iranian and Malaysian automotive workers. One thousand and fifty eight subjects from production line workers were selected via random selection in Iran and Malaysia participated in this study. This research is a causal-comparative study and a set of questionnaires consisting of OCB questions developed by Lee and Allen (2002) and CWB questions by Fox and Spector (2002) were translated into Persian and Malay languages and administered after validation along with to measure the reliability. By applying independent sample t test after F-Levine’s Test for Equality of Variances, results indicated that the level of Organisational Citizenship Behaviours (OCBs), related dimensions - Interpersonal Citizenship Behaviours (OCB-I) and Organizational Citizenship Behaviours (OCB-O), and Counterproductive Work Behaviours (CWBs), related dimensions- persons or individual target (CWB-I) and organisational target (CWB-O) were higher in Iranian than in Malaysian (p<0.01). Thus, this study shows that Iranians and Malaysians as different nationals have some differences because of cultural differentiation. Based on these results, it was concluded that, the level of intention to OCBs and CWBs were different among Iranian and Malaysian. With this cross cultural finding, this study hopes to help practitioners and scientists in the field of Industrial and Organisational psychology.
