Abstract: 

There can be found many defects in believes of people in the age of ignorance, particularly in their most fundamental ones, i. e. God and hereafter. Denying man's life after death and knowing him of only earthly life has been a case of the defects. This belief has been opposed with in various verses of Quran and having faced it with different reasonable proofs, has explained the truth of man's life after earthly life. In the paper, therefore, the defective belief has been examined and Quranic considerations analyzed. And, finally, intending a comparative study on the cultures before and after the prophecy of Islam Prophet, has insisted on the hereafter life and examined various kinds of present eschatology.

Abstract: 

Transcendental philosophy is fundamentally based upon the teachings of different fields including peripatetic philosophy, illuminative philosophy, theoretical mysticism, especially that of Mohyeddin Arabi and theology. The holy Qoran and logical demonstration, however, have been the most essential fundamental element in this philosophical school of thought. This paper has dealt with and emphasized on the compatibility of Divine law and reason in this school. An especial emphasis has been put on Divine revelation. As is understood in Sadra's philosophical teachings, when dealing with ontological propositions one cannot rely on reason alone but, in addition, the teachings of revelation nature are directly or indirectly needed. The most significant reason on the claim consists in quantitative and qualitative extension of the content in transcendental philosophy.

Abstract: 

Can human language, being of limitations, be used to speak on God, the exalted and unlimited? Answering the question positively and opposing any humanlike apprehension on God, Allameh Tabatabayi has taken religious meanings to comprehend negation and affirmation both and relying on traditions, has adopted Divine qualities to be affirmative and incomparable. Considering God's absoluteness and self-subsistence, he then knows God possessing all existential perfections completely and, following Sadra, considers negative qualities nothing other than negation of imperfection or affirmation of perfection, and considers affirmative qualities just the same, and the same as Essence. In addition, relying on the principles of the unity of the meaning of existence, analogicity of existence, and distinguishing the world of meaning from that of case and regarding the grades of meaning and usage of words, Allameh knows such qualities as knowledge, power and life the same when speaking of God and man. It seems that Allameh has preferred the negative method and paid less attention to affirmative meanings applicable to God and man both.

Abstract: 

This paper has intended to compare religious experience with mystical intuition. Conceptual analysis of religious experience and mystical intuition are logically considered as a necessary ground for analyzing their nature. Experience may be considered both in usage and in essence; its usage is a change but its essence is 0f real orders, the deepest one being religious. Apocalypse, intuition and inspection are known of different meanings for mystics. Observation is mystically described as the falling of cover and Divine appearance in heart occurred when the curtains have been put away by leaving habits and modifications and performing hard efforts continuously. When analyzing different views on religious experience and mystical intuition, one knows them to be common in interiority, containing nothingness, unity, awareness, lack of negligence and presence. However they happen in different situations. Though Muslim mystics have viewed mystical observation in a nearly like manner, western scholars have taken different manners when explaining religious experience.

Abstract: 

Music is originated from mental states and, therefore, its rules can hardly be measured with sensible standards. It is why studying music and its qualities seem to be difficult. Such being the case, when studying the question on the extent to which music influence human life the answers would not be the same. Some have known it as an agent to distort human moral and progress while others have counted it as a necessary agent for human culture and life to be of duration. In this paper, the relation between music and philosophy along with an essential need for studying it philosophically has been discussed. For the subject to be clear, synthetic parts and the causes to make songs rhythmic and its mental perception have been examined. Further, studying the essence of music, various views on the origin of music, its ontological aspect have been critically focused on. The reason why it seems interesting and the way in which it affects man have been described.

Abstract: 

This paper has intended to examine experience-based religious thought critically. As is understood by the study, on this manner of thought one may not follow Divine law by heart. Empiricism in the field of metaphysics would lead to a quantitative interpretation of revelation, miracle and prophetic states. Such a way may not lead to the discovery of the truth. The view of Bazargan, as an example for some contemporary scholars, has been discussed in the paper. Though he has known man obliged to Islamic law and emphasized it and has considered Divine unity and everlasting happiness as the final aim of Prophet, regarding some part of his view that challenges realism, Divine administration and religious leadership, one can never be a real religious man and attain Divine content.
