Extremity of each rabbit was treated by ultrasound therapy with mentioned specialties After this period rabbits were killed by ether and mechanical test were done in three point bending manner. For histobgical study, specimens were placed in formal–saline and were embedded by paraffin subsequently. After then they were sectioned at 7µm and were stained Haematoxyline & Eosine and masons trichrome. Descriptive ranks (grades) and qualitative method were used for histological study.
Results: findings of this research indicated that:
Ultrasound therapy with 1MHz frequency caused significantly increase in F-max. Energy absorbed capacity, Ultimate bending strength, force at elasticity and mean descriptive rank in experimental extremity on 21 and 28 days after surgery.
Ultrasound therapy with 3MHz frequency caused significantly increase in F-max, Energy absorbed capacity, Ultimate bending strength in experimental extremity on 7 day after surgery.
Conclusion: Ultrasound therapy with 1MHz frequency on third and forth weeks after surgery (DHPO) and with 3MHz frequency on first week after surgery may cause. Significantly increase in biomechanical and histological tibia bone properties in rabbits.
