Flat storage of Textile, using acid free tissue, cotton fabric washed with boiled water, acid free boards and roles, special files and drawers, etc… are the most important matters which are considered in the British Museum. Monitoring the stores against the biological and microbiological attacks, special filters for Aerosols and pollution, UV filters and controlling the relative humidity and temperature are important too.
