This preject was conducted based on the result from pervious investigations. In this research a native mycorrhizal fungus was isolated. Then optimum condition for colonization and propagation was determined. Different inoculums from the fungus were prepared for fild studies. The aim of this research was to stady of the method of the fungus propagation and inoculum preparation with high density as necessary for field investigation. The work were comprised from three section, including inoculant and carrier study, lab scale carrier preparation and inoculant selection. After these steps a selected inoculant were used for ocimum basilicum in field studies. The results of this study showed that growth and metabolite contents of the plant were increased by using the mycorrhizal inoculation.
