The purpose of this research was to determine the measurement of happiness in Chamran university's native and nonnative students and its related with their academic performance. Our Assumed that it was different in measure of happiness rate between native and nonnative students.
The measurement tools were oxford happiness questionnares which it made in by Argyle and Lue and its validity was based in different countrys including iran. After completing questionnaires by interview, the data was analyzed by software of spss.
The sample consisted 400 of students (200 boys, 200 girls) of three groups: basic science, technical sciense, technical engineering science that were chosen by random.
The finding demonstrait that mean of happiness in chamran's students were 92.52. Also there was significant correlation between happiness and academic performance (r=0.42). In addition there was significant difference between rate of happiness in native and nonnative chamran's student. The result of research also showd that there was significant relation between happiness and gender, marriage, job status, educational field's interest, educational section, social-economic class and hope to earn job. Stepwise regression finding showd that the variable of hope to earn job, educational field interesting, job status, gender and social-economic class altogether were explaining %43 of happiness variance.
