This study reviews the previous research that has been done in the country about Persian language satellite programs. The content of research on different subjects related to satellite program is going to be estimate. Possible gap in each area will be identified and give some offer for future studies. For this purpose a list of active Persian-language satellite channels has been provided and they have been categories in terms of their subjects. According to former research about the issue a database was provided, by using systematic review method 30 studies in 16 subjects was categories. Analyzing and evaluating all of them. The results shows there are 120 Persian-language satellite channels nowadays, most of them are music, movies and entertainment that in recent years increasingly are growing. On the other hand the satellite and its volume-oriented research dramatically has grown since the 90's. Most previous research topics dedicated to attitude, utilization of various group from different programs, different impact of satellite programs on social and individual, such as identity, family, lifestyle and religion. Most of the studies are Descriptive and explanatory, less analytical research has done and in most cases, they are not of acceptable quality. Most of the quantitative studies to explain the findings have been using correlation or causal. As a conclusion it can be said it is necessary to research with a focus on causes and trends in the Persian-language satellite channels and its programs, and in this regard special attention to the expectations of the local media.
