This study was carried out on survey of marine Crustacean main groups and their application in different industries. The hundred tons of shell crustacean wastes such as shrimps, crabs and lobsters are yearly unusable in Persian Gulf and Oman Sea coasts. Chitin is a natural polymer, constitutes the major part (85%) of Crustacean wastes. Optimal application of this material in different fields may bring about a new era of activity based on chitin industry. Glucosamine and Chitosan, with a wide application, are being made from these wastes. Heating Chitin in the presence of concentrated hydrochloric acid, chitin is converted into glucosamine with 60-70% efficiency. Chitin and glucosamine are widely used in sewage treatment, glue production, food industries, cosmetics, paper mills, agriculture, medical, dentistry, pharmaceutics, textile chromatography, photography, etc.
