Abstract:

1. INTRODUCTION: CONSIDERING ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ALONG OTHER TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS HAVE A SIGNIFICANT IMPORTANCE IN DESIGN OF PROJECTS SPECIALLY IN DEVELOPING PLANS OF PORTS. CURRENTLY, THE TECHNICAL DESIGN OF STRUCTURES IS ALMOST INDEPENDENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENTS WHICH LEADS TO AN UNDESIRABLE INTERACTION BETWEEN TECHNICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. AS A RESULT, ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS HAVE A WEAK INFLUENCE ON THE OVERALL DESIGN. CONSEQUENTLY, A GOOD COOPERATION BETWEEN TECHNICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DISCIPLINES COULD HAVE A CONSIDERABLE EFFECT ON THE QUALITY OF THE PLANNING. IN THIS ARTICLE, THIS CLOSE COOPERATION AND THE INFLUENCES OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS ON PORTS MASTER PLANS HAVE BEEN PAID CLOSE ATTENTION AND THE MASTER PLAN OF “PERSIAN GULF” PORT HAS SPECIFICALLY BEEN DISCUSSED.
