Abstract: 

Recent data indicated that opioid agonists in low concentration induce hyperalgesic effect. it was suggested that these paradoxical effects may be due to differences in gene expression levels of the opioid receptors. In this study we have demonstrated that the real time PCR afforded great sensitivity, accuracy and reproducibility for genes expression study in neural tissues.
