Abstract: 

IN THIS STUDY, VACUUM PUMPING OF GAS AND IMPURITY REMOVAL IN IECF FUSION SYSTEM WAS INVESTIGATED. THE DEVICE HAS A STAINLESS STEEL CHAMBER WITH 800LIT VOLUME AND A 200000CM2 EFFECTIVE SURFACE. THE CHAMBER HAS WINDOWS FOR DIAGNOSTIC DIVES WITH PTFE AND PEREX. PUMPING TIME FOR TOW TM PUMPS WITH PUMPING SPEED OF 250L/S AND 1000L/S, THE SPEED OF BACKING PUMP OF TM PUMPS WAS EVALUATED. OUT GASSING OF MATERIALS USED IN THIS WORK WERE EVALUATED AND SHOWN IN DIAGRAMS.
