Abstract: 

VARIOUS TYPES OF OPTICAL FILTERS CAN BE MADE BY USING THE ARRANGEMENT OF DIELECTRIC FILMS. WHEN USING LASERS, REGARDING THE WAVELENGTH AND POWER, THE EYES SHOULD BE PROTECTED USING PROPER GOGGLES. THE GOGGLES MUST BE FABRICATED TO HAVE MAXIMUM REFLECTION POWER AND MINIMUM TRANSMISSION AT THE SPECIFIC WAVELENGTH. THE AUTHOR HAS DEVELOPED A PROGRUMME FOR SIMULATION OF THE DESIRED REQUIREMENT OF THE OPTICAL FILTERS, AND BASED ON OUR DESIGN A FILTER WITH THE TRANSMISSION OF 0.015% AT THE WAVELENGTH OF 1064 NM HAS BEEN FABRICATED. WITH 3 FILTERS OF THIS TYPE, A GOOGLES WITH THE OPTICAL DENSITY OF 9 HAS BEEN ACHIEVED.
