Abstract: 

THE DC ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF GLASSES IN THE (40) TEO2-(60-X) V2O5- (X) MOO3 SYSTEM HAS BEEN STUDIED AT TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 180 AND 403 K. FROM THE CONDUCTIVITY- TEMPERATURE RELATION, IT WAS FOUND THAT SMALL POLARON HOPPING (SPH) MECHANISM WAS APPLICABLE AT THE HIGH TEMPERATURES (T>QD/2; QD AND T ARE DEBYE TEMPERATURE AND ABSOLUTE DEBYE TEMPERATURE AND ABSOLUTE TEMPERATURE, RESPECTIVELY).
