Abstract: 

THE SHORT -TIME -DOMAIN GATED RADIOMETRIC MICROWAVE NOISE TECHNIQUE IS DEVELOPED FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF HOT-PHONON IN TWO DIMENSIONAL ELECTRON GAS CHANNEL SUBJECTED TO A STRONG ELECTRIC FIELD APPLIED IN THE PLANE OF ELECTRON CONFINEMENT WHERE, THE LO-PHONON EMISSION BY HOT ELECTRONS AND THE HOT LO-PHONON DISINTEGRATION ARE MAINLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENERGY DISSIPATION .IN THIS PAPER WE INVESTIGATED THE HOT-PHONON EFFECT ON THE TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF TWO - DIMENSIONAL ELECTRON GAS ALGAN/GAN SUCH AS CURRENT -VOLTAGE CHARACTERISTICS.
