Abstract: 

BY STUDYING THE HYSTERESIS LOOP OF GROWN TGS (TRI GLYCINE SULPHATE) WITH PHOSPHORIC ACID AND COBALT SULPHATE DOPING AS A SINGLE CRYSTAL WITH FERROELECTRIC PROPERTY, DIFFERENT PARAMETERS RELATED TO THE FERROELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF THIS CRYSTAL AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES SHOWED SIMILAR VARIATIONS AS TGS SINGLE CRYSTAL, BUT WITH SOME CHANGES IN THE MAGNITUDES OF THE PARAMETERS. IN TGSP: CO SINGLE CRYSTAL, CURIE TEMPERATURE WAS MEASURED EQUAL TO 48OC. EC AND PR PARAMETERS IN THIS CRYSTAL AT ROOM TEMPERATURE WERE MEASURED EQUAL TO 650 V/C AND 1.42´10-2 C/M2, RESPECTIVELY. THE CHANGES IN THE MENTIONED PARAMETERS WITH RESPECT TO TGS SINGLE CRYSTAL ARE DUE TO PRESENCE OF THE CO+2 IONS AND THEIR PREVENTION OF THE POLARIZATION ADJUSTMENT. THIS STUDY ALSO REVEALS THAT THE SHAPE OF THE HYSTERESIS LOOP AT 48OC AND TEMPERATURES BELOW IT IN THE TGSP: CO CRYSTAL HAS A DOUBLED SHAPE WHICH IS DUE TO THE PRESENT OF ENOUGH PO43- IONS.
