Abstract: 

IN THIS RESEARCH, THE EFFECT OF METAL GRAIN SIZE ON THE SPECTRAL SELECTIVITY OF NI/AL2O3 CERMET FILMS FOR EFFICIENT PHOTO THERMAL CONVERSION OF SOLAR ENERGY IN ULTRA QUASISTATIC DOMAIN WERE INVESTIGATED. THE ABSORPTION, EXTINCTION AND SCATTERING CROSS SECTION WERE CALCULATED ON THE BASIS OF MIE THEORY BY ANALYTICAL SIMULATION. THE RESULTS OF THIS RESEARCH SHOWED THAT “THE CRITICAL METAL GRAIN SIZE FOR SPECTRAL SELECTIVITY OF PHOTO THERMAL CONVERSION OF SOLAR ENERGY BY NI/AL2O3 IS ABOUT 0.13 MICROMETER”.
