Abstract: 

WE HAVE CONSIDERED A SEMICONDUCTOR MICROCAVITY DRIVEN BY A COHERENT AND STATIOINARY HOLDING BEAM IN PASSIVE CONFIGURATION. STABILIZATION AND SELECTION OF DIFFERENT PATTERNS IS DEMONSTRATED USING A SPATIAL PERTURBATION METHOD. THE PERTURBATION, AS A WEAK SIGNAL CAN CHANGE THE PATTERNS. WE HAVE SHOWN THAT BY APPROPRIATE SELECTION OF PHASES, THE HEXAGON AND HONEYCOMB PATTERNS CAN BE OBTAINED.
