THIS PAPER PRESENTS DYNAMIC STABILITY ANALYSES OF A GRID- CONNECTED PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) ARRAY SUBJECT TO RANDOM FLUCTUATIONS DUE TO A CLOUDY WEATHER. THE EIGENVALUE SCHEME IS EMPLOYED TO EXAMINE DYNAMIC PERFORMANCES OF THE STUDIED GRID-CONNECTED PV ARRAY. A DC-TO-DC BOOST CONVERTER TO INCREASE OUTPUT DC VOLTAGE AND A DC-TO-AC ONE-PHASE CONVERTER FOR CONNECTION TO POWER GRID HAVE BEEN USED. BASED OF DEVELOPED DYNAMIC EQUATIONS THE AFFECT OF GRID VOLTAGE ON TO DYNAMIC STABILITY OF PV SYSTEM HAS BEEN SIMULATED. SIMULATION RESULTS SHOW THAT THE INSTABILITY IN CASE OF GRID VOLTAGE VARIATIONS MUST BE CONSIDERED AND A SUITABLE STABILIZER SHOULD BE USED.
