Abstract: 

RIPI bacteria was an aerobic, non-spore-forming and gram-positive and color bacterium. Different conditions such as light, influenced to generation pigment in organism. Carotenoids are one of the most important pigments in bacteria, algae, fungi and green plants, which are protective pigments. In this study, we characterized kind of pigment in RIPI bacteria by the best solvent extraction. Also, we studied of effect of light in produce pigment.
The best solvent for extraction was acetone and extinction coefficient for extracted solution was 0.14 and comparison of structure between different solvent showed the most non-polar solvent (acetone) had the best solubility of the others. By Spectral analysis,
lmax of pigment was between 468-472nm. Results from the study of effect of light showed no discriminating effects of light and dark in produced of pigment, but light caused accelerated of generation. These data had been provided an exclusive perspective for detection of different species of RIPI bacteria.
