Abstract: 

FOR DETECTION OF HERBICIDE ACTIVE RESIDUES, A GREENHOUSE STUDY WAS CONDUCTED IN 2008 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEHRAN TREATMENTS WERE: ATRAZINE (1KG/HA), ALACHLOR (4KG/HA), ATRAZINE+ALACHLOR (1+4KG/HA), NICOSULFURON (80 G AI/HA), FURAMSULFURON (45G AI/HA), RIMSULFURON (25G AI/HA), NICOSULFURON+FURAMSULFURON (80+45G AI/HA), NICOSULFURON+RIMSULFURON (80+25 G AI/HA, RESPECTIVELY), FURAMSULFURON+RIMSULFURON (45+25 G AI/HA) AND UNTREATED CONTROL. RESULTS SHOWED THAT MAXIMUM REDUCTION IN GERMINATION, AMOUNT OF DRY WEIGHT AND SHOOT LENGTH, WAS OBSERVED WITH ATRAZINE ALONE. AMONG SULFONYLUREAS, NICOSULFURON, MUCH MORE DECREASE IN CRESS DRY WEIGHT. RESULTS SHOWED SOIL SAMPLES TAKEN FROM 0-10CM DEPTH CAUSED MORE DECREASE IN CRESS DRY WEIGHT. SINGLE- ROW PATTERN HAD MORE EFFECT ON DRY WEIGHT AND LENGTH’S REDUCTION.
