Abstract: 

IN ORDER TO SURVEY THE RESISTANCE OF WILD OAT POPULATIONS TO PINOXADEN HERBICIDE IN FARS PROVINCE, SEED BIOASSAY EXPERIMENT WAS CONDUCTED ON 13 WILD OAT POPULATIONS (12 SUSPECT POPULATIONS TO RESISTANCE AND ONE SUSCEPTIBLE POPULATION TO HERBICIDE) AT THE DEPARTMENT OF WEED RESEARCH, PLANT PROTECTION INSTITUTE LABORATORY IN 2008. EXPERIMENTS WERE INCLUDED TWO STAGES, DETERMINATION OF DISCRIMINATING DOSE ON SUSCEPTIBLE POPULATION AND THEN DOSE RESPONSE EXPERIMENT ON 13 POPULATIONS. IN THIS STUDY AFTER DETERMINATION OF DISCRIMINATING DOSE, THE RESPONSE OF WILD OAT POPULATIONS WERE SURVEYED USING THE EIGHT DOSES INCLUDE 0 TO 16 TIMES OF DISCRIMINATING DOSE) OF PINOXADEN HERBICIDE. SHOOT LENGTH WERE PERFORMED SEVEN DAYS AFTER HERBICIDES TREATMENT. IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE RESISTANCE INDEX, GR50 OF SUSCEPTIBLE POPULATION WAS DETERMINATE AND THEN RESPONSE OF ALL POPULATION WAS EVALUATED RELATED TO THAT. RESULTS OF THESE STUDIES INDICATED THAT ALL OF SUSPECT POPULATIONS WERE RESISTANT TO PINOXADEN WITH DIFFERENT DEGREES. S2 AND ES WERE INDICATED HIGHEST AND LOWEST LEVEL OF RESISTANCE TO PINPXADEN BY 32.21 AND 1.83 TIMES RELATED TO SUSCEPTIBLE POPULATION.
