Abstract:

FOR CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT OF OROBANCHE IN POTATO FIELDS, SOME HERBICIDES FOR THE CONTROL OF THE PARASITE WERE EVALUATED. THE EXPERIMENT WAS CARRIED OUT IN THE FRAME OF A COMPLETE BLOCK DESIGN WITH 4 REPLICATIONS AND 12 TREATMENTS. THE HERBICIDES USED, WERE: RIMSULFURON (DF) 30 DAYS AFTER PLANTING WITH 40 AND 60 GR.HA-1, RIMSULFURON (DF) 30 AND 40 DAYS AFTER PLANTING WITH 20 AND 30 GR.HA-1, RIMSULFURON (DF) 30, 40 AND 50 DAYS AFTER PLANTING WITH 30 AND 90 GR.HA-1, SULFOSULFURON ( WG75%) 30, 40 AND 50 DAYS AFTER PLANTING WITH 25 AND 35 GR.HA-1, GLYPHOSATE 30, 40 AND 50 DAYS AFTER PLANTING WITH 50, 100 AND 150 ML.HA-1, AND CHECK (OROBANCHE FREE AND WITH OROBANCHE). THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT, THE TOP TREATMENTS WERE RIMSULFURON 90 GR.HA-1 AND SULFOSULFURON 35 AND 25 GR.HA-1 30, 40 AND 50 DAYS AFTER PLANTING REDUCED 97.48, 96.93 AND 95.58 PERCENTAGE DENSITY OF OROBANCHE RESPECTIVELY. RIMSULFURON 90 GR.HA-1 30, 40 AND 50 DAYS AFTER PLANTING, WITH 571.5 PERCENTAGES, CREASE YIELD COMPARED WITH CHECK TREATMENT (WITH OROBANCHE) WAS THE BEST TREATMENT IN THIS EXPERIMENT.
