Abstract: 

Remote sensing using multispectral image processing has found many applications in mine exploration. In this paper a neuro fuzzy system is designed and trained using Landsat TM multispectral images of a known carbonated-hosted Pb-Zn deposite area in Isfahan province. The output is a black and white image that white pixels indicate the target minerals. The system performance was checked using multispectral images of the other known areas.
