Abstract:

INVESTIGATION SHOWED THAT 87.17% OF IDENTIFIED SPECIES OBLONG TO DICOTS, 12.39% MONOCOT, AND .44% PETRIOPHITES (EQUESITUMES). MONOCOT WEED, FIELD HORSE TAIL (EREMOPYRUM BONAEPARTIS (SPRENG.) NEVSKI) BY ABUNDANCE INDEX 29.31% HAD 25 GRADES IN RANKING. THE HIGHEST WEED DENSITIES WERE FOUND IN THE MARAGHEH WITH 18.73 PLANT/M2 AND THE LOWEST IN THE VARZAGAN, SARAB, AND BONAB WITH 88.27, 85.80, AND 81.65 PLANT/ M2, RESPECTIVELY. BRASSICACEAE, ASTERACEAE, CHENOPODIACEAE, AND POLYGONACEAE HAD HIGHEST RELATIVE ABUNDANCE (RA) IN BARELY FIELDS, RESPECTIVELY. PROSTRATE KNOTWEED (POLYGONUM AVICULARE L.), BINDWEED (CONVOLVULUS ARVENSIS L.), AND THREEHORNED STRAW (GALLIUM TRICORNUTUM DANDY) WERE THE TOP THREE SPECIES BASED ON A RANKING SYSTEM USING A MEASURE CALLED ABUNDANCE INDEX (AI).
