Abstract: 

TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTS OF ROTATION ON FUMARIA VAILLANTII AN EXPERIMENT IN THREE ALFALFA-FALLOW-WHEAT, CANOLA-FALLOW-WHEAT AND WHEAT-FALLOW-WHEAT WERE PERFORMED. SAMPLING WAS DONE BY DISCRETE SYSTEMATIC METHOD IN WHICH SAMPLES WERE TAKEN FROM THE CORNERS OF 7 M* 7M GRIDS USING 0.5M * 0.5 SIZE QUADRATES IN TWO STAGES BEFORE AND AFTER THE CHEMICAL CONTROL. WEED DENSITY WERE RECORDED, SO THE HIGHEST DENSITY WAS OBSERVED AT ALFALFA-FALLOW-WHEAT. IN ORDER TO DESCRIBE THE DISTRIBUTION OF WEED GEOSTATISTICS WERE USED AND VARIOGRAM FUNCTIONS IN BOTH SAMPLING STAGE WAS CALCULATED, FINALLY SPECIES DISTRIBUTION MAPS WERE DRAWN. VARIOGRAM COMPONENTS IN THE PROCESS OF SAMPLING AND ROTATIONS WERE DIFFERENT AND THESE DIFFERENT MAPS OF SPECIES DISTRIBUTION WERE CLEARLY VISIBLE. THE RESULTS OF THESE TESTS SHOWED THAT THE WEED FREQUENCY DEPENDING ON THE EFFECTS OF APPLYING DIFFERENT CONTROL OPERATIONS, AND CORRESPONDING INFORMATION WILL BE ACCESSIBLE THROUGH GEOSTATISTICS.
