Abstract: 

Qir Regions is located at 160 Km South-East of Shiraz city. It lies on the South extreme of Sabzpoushan shear zone. The west of this region and pattern of anticline axes as overlapping right stepped and right strike slip behavior of Kareh-Bas fault shows right slip shear system. Joint studies in Narreh anticline emphasize this shear system. Rotation of Kareh-Bas fault at its end and creation of trailing contract ional imbricate fault in the subsurface and surface with uplifting, bending and compression of the most folds in the region, destroy and reduces the volume of hydrocarbon reservoirs at various horizons. It seems it will not economic and successful to drill for exploration, because of buried reverse faults (branched from Kareh-Bas fault), as in the Bandobast anticline was done. Various faults in the anticlinal core cause to scape of hydrocarbon and create hot and sulphur springs such as Narreh, Bandobast, Changal anticlines. Thus drillings in the anticline of Surmeh, Kallaghe, Lar, Afzar, Kord sheikh, Narreh, Qul Qul, Changhl and Plange don’t propose because of these buried reverse faults. Seismic activities due to these faults emphasize this theory.
