Abstract: 

Existing of the some obtrusive elements such as, Iron in aluminum sulfate solution, resulted from sulphuric acid leaching of bauxite, limits the aluminum sulfate application. In this study jarosite method is used for reduction of iron ions. Iron removal process on the artificial solution by jarosite process, shows that between various chemicals, potassium sulfate has higher ability for jarosite sedimentation. From the results of this study, it can be pointed out that the optimum reaction time should be 6 hours. About 90% of solution Iron will be extracted based on increasing in artificial solution pH to 3.5. Iron removal process on the leaching-resulted solution by jarosite process shows that extracting of 43.84 percent Iron is possible by potassium sulfate, as sedimentation factor in jarosite process, and 6 hours time and 100 degree centegrade temperature.
