Abstract: 

IN THIS PAPER WITH DESCRIPTION OF FINITE ELEMENT METHOD, PHOTON MIGRATION IN FREQUENCY DOMAIN WITHIN SOFT TISSUE HAS BEEN SIMULATED WITH THIS METHOD. IN THIS REASON, WITH APPLYING A SINUSOIDAL SUPPLY TO THE MARGINAL SURFACE OF CIRCULAR TISSUE, THE PRINCIPLE CHARACTERISTICS SUCH AS SINUSOIDAL AMPLITUDE AND PHASE VARIATIONS HAVE BEEN SIMULATED WITH FINITE ELEMENT METHOD AND THOSE HAVE BEEN COMPARED WITH PUBLISHED RESULTS.
RESULT VERIFICATIONS SHOWED THAT USE OF FINITE ELEMENT METHOD WITH REGULAR SQUARE ELEMENTS IS ACCURATE AND ITS ERROR IS NEGLIGIBLE. THE EFFECT OF CHANGE MAIN PARAMETERS IN PHOTON MIGRATION IN TISSUE SIMULATED AND CRITICAL VALUES HAVE BEEN OBTAINED FOR SUPPLY FREQUENCY, REFRACTIVE INDEX, ABSORPTION COEFFICIENT AND SCATTERING COEFFICIENT IN A GLOBAL GEOMETRY. IN THIS RESEARCH, THE LINEAR EQUATIONS HAVE BEEN SOLVED WITH CONJUGATE GRADIENT METHOD AND SHOWED THAT THIS METHOD MAKES CONVERGENCE APACE AND ITS ERROR IS NEGLIGIBLE.
