Abstract: 

IN THE LAST DECADES, THE SOLUTIONS OF EQUATIONS WITH NUMERICAL METHODS HAVE BEEN APPLIED COMPREHENSIVELY, IN ORDER TO CONSIDERABLY COMPENSATE DEFICIENCY OF ANALYTICAL METHODS. HOWEVER, THE ANALYTICAL-APPROXIMATIVE METHODS STILL INDICATE ITS CAPABILITY. ONE OF THE USEFUL ANALYTICAL-APPROXIMATIVE METHODS IS PERTURBATION EXPANSION METHOD THAT HAS CAPABILITY TO SOLVE NONLINEAR PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS. FURTHERMORE THIS PROCEDURE CAN SOLVE THE SYSTEMS OF ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS (ODE), PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS (PDE) AND NONLINEAR ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS. IN THIS PAPER, PLANE COUETTE FLOW WITH VARIABLE VISCOSITY, HAS BEEN STUDIED IN COURSE OF PERTURBATION EXPANSION METHOD AND NUMERICAL METHOD AND THE RESULTS IS COMPARED WITH EXACT SOLUTIONS. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT IN PERTURBATION EXPANSION METHOD THE VALUE OF PLATE TEMPERATURE AND THE RATIO OF VISCOUS HEAT TO HEAT CONDUCTION CAN NOT BE CHOSEN LARGER FROM A SPECIFIED VALUE.
