Abstract: 

The determination of optimized condition of heap leaching parameters is the first and the most essential step of leaching operation .The effective parameters such as temperature, acid concentration, particle size, time and acid flow rate are also very important in heap leaching and should be optimized before designing the process. The important problems of the heap leaching are compaction factor and permeability which have rarely been paid attention on. Due these problems the experimental results have not been properly used in industrial scales. In this study the leaching experiment has been done on the oxide soil of the western heap of Sarcheshmeh cooper mine with different compactions and then optimum condition was introduced.
