PROPOSE: EPIDEMIOLOGY ASPECTS OF TENTICULAR CANCERS IN IRAN IS NOT CLEAR. COMPLETE KLOWLEGE OF CLINICAL STAGE AND COMMOR PATHOLOGIC SUBTYPES, IN IRAN, MAKER TREATMENT EASIER AND RESUITS MORE PREDICTABLE.
M & M: WE REVIEWED HOSPITAL REPEATS OF ALL 107 HOSPITALIZED PATIENT WITH RESTICULAR TUMOR IN SHARIATI HOSPITAL BETWEEN 1359-1381.
RESULTS: PATIENTS WERE BETWEEN 1 TO 75 YEARS OLD. (AVER: 31.5).
IN65 PERSON RIGHT TERTEEN WAS INVOIVED WITH TUMOR AND 31 PERSON LEFT SIDE. IN ONE PATIENT TWO TERTES HAD TUMOR IN 2 YEARS PERIOD. THREE PATIENTS HAD PREVIOUS ORCHIDOPEXY, (%3), 7 HAD PREVIOUS HISTORY OF TRAUMA, AND 6 (%55) HAD COMCOMITTENT HYDROCELE.
AVERAGE TIME TO DIAGNOSIC WAS 8.1 MONTHS (1 WEEK- 3 YEARS). PATOLOGIC TYPES INCLUDE: PURE EMBERYONAL CELL CARCINOMA 19 (%19) PURE SEMINOMA %1707, PURE EMBERYONAL CELL (%5.6), AND TERATOCARCINOMA (%22). IN OTHER PATIENTS THERE WERE OTHER PATHOLOGIES INCLUDING: RETE TESTIS ADENOCARCINOMA, METASTATIC ADENOCARCINOMA OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN, METASTATIC RENAL CELL CARCINOMA, UNDIFFERENT TIATED.
