Abstract: 

Surface and ground water inflow to the mining excavations and underground structures such as tunnel construction is one of the problems create many problems during implementation and leave many devastating consequences during exploitation stage. Therefore it is necessary to consider the location and quantito of water inflow, the rate of pressure applied to the tunnel covering by underground waters, chemical qualities, and its drainage model, and then apply all of these in the relevant designing. Past experiences have shown that it is not possible to anticipate the exact amount of water inflow in to the tunnels excavated in a stone environment due to the impossibility of determining all factors that effect water inflow. With due regard to the geology of tunnel route and information limitation, in the present research, in each section of tunnel, an appropriate method is explained considering the available information. In lime section which includes 1000 meters of tunnel, the amount of input water is estimated by water balance and Maillet method due to unavailability of pumpage Piezometer. In Shili Vasiti sections constituting 17 Km of tunnel length, because the number of hypothesis were sufficient regarding quantity, experiments and condition, the input water has been estimated by the result of Lozhen experiments
