In the age of science, technology, communication and information technology, one can continue the advancement, who possesses more information, and use this information quickly upon the need for achievement to the goals. This reality has almost developed in all science disciplines such as geo science fields. Land geophysical studies have been carried out in the country from a long time ago, and in the most cases, they have had reasonable results. So far, several thousand geophysical projects with various aims have been performed in the country, and even some cases, some repetitive geophysical studies in an area have been carried out. This means that the managers of geophysical project have not been aware of the previous geophysical studies, or the information of previous geophysical studies have not been available. Thus, to avoid of wasting time and budget and to use the results of the previous studies, a database is needed in order to keep the information of geophysical studies for public awareness. The aim of this paper is to justify the need for this database and its capabilities.
