Abstract: 

The current present drugs including opioid and Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Because of side effects and another problem are not probably useful.
Therefore, this research pays attention to The Effect of anti-inflammation Hydro-Alcoholic Extract of Mentha pulegium Leave by Carrageenan Model. In this experiment adult male wistar rats was used that their weight were about 220- 230 g. That they were divided into five group (n=8). The experimental groups received 400, 800, 1600 (mg/kg) from hydro-alcohol extract leave of Mentha pulegium respectively, and the Sham group received only distilled water and the Control group didn't received any medication.
The five micro liters Carrageenan (%1) was injected in way of under dermatic by Hamilton syringe. The paw volume measured in the mercury after 2:30 hr from injection of carrageen.
The results showed that the effect of anti-inflammatory of Hydro-Alcoholic Extract of Mentha pulegium Leave, clarify this fact that amount of extract maximum cause to meaningful decreasing inflammation in Carrageenan test in comparison with Sham and Control groups.
The effect of anti-inflammation menthe pulegium Can be the result of combination such as Tymol, Mg , Pulegone, Diosmin , Hesperidin. Further more many researches should be done in this way, and it is necessary to do this, like effective material and determining the rate of poisonous chronic and acute in order to more accurate exploring of extract function.
