Abstract: 

Introducton: norepinephin is the neurotrasmitter in the brain that has antiepilepticeffect. also sten can modulate brain adrenrgic system and leading to cortical blood flow alterations.
Methods: in this study regarding to l.c. is a not adrenergic locus in brain. We study it, s role in cortical blood flow during stress and kindled rats. Kindling was induced by ptz adminstration (ip / 40 mg/kg) each 48h. l.c. was lesioned by ttx and cortical blood flow was recordedusing laser doppler flowmetry.
Results: the result indicated that stren increased cortical blood flow (p<0.05).in addition, stress prolonged stage 5 seizure (p<0.05).and this seizure increament was significantly lrsser in l.c. leasion group.
Conclusion: we concluded that seizure can be attcnuated by l.c. leasion in stressed rats.
