Abstract: 

Medical use of herb plants for treatment of various diseases has been current in Iran and other countries since prehistoric times. Nowadays herbal Medicine is known as one of the branch of supplementary medicine and substitute. Now, many firms and scientific centers in the world, work in this ground. In these research, influence of ghee mixture and prosopis fracta powder on skin wound’s healing, have been studied 6 male rats selected and hair was shaved from back of rat and 4 hole’s was made in each side of rat’s body with puncher. Some of wounds treated with ointment (pomade) daily and some of them that was in the same position anatomically, selected as a control. Sample from the wound was prepared on day’s 2, 4, and 8. Macroscopical section’s prepared after tissue passage. And was stained with Erithrozin- hematoxilin. The present study was based on microscopical comparison and assessment of control and experimental wound’s.
Macroscopic measuring of experimental and control wounds diameter and microscopic of epithelium diameter in section’s was done. Results supported that prosopis farcta extract was effective in wound healing process in this study.
Presumably, Result from experimental samples, related to use of traditional healer’s. Use of imitation healing ointment and comparison their application with supplementary traditional healer’s, support the influence of traditional healer’s in the present study.
