Abstract: 

PYRETHRUMS FAMILY COMPOUNDS SUCH AS CYPERMETHRINE, DI-ALLETHRINE, TETRAMETHRINE AND PI PRONYLE BUTOXIDE AND ITS ANALOGOUS COMPOUNDS HAVE A VAST RANGE OF ACTION ON INSECT. THUS THIS COMPOUNDS USE AS AN INSECTICIDE IN MANY OF PRODUCTS THAT MAKING AGAINST INSECT. SEVERAL METHODS HAVE BEEN REPORTED FOR ANALYSIS OF THESE COMPOUNDS. THE AIM OF THIS STUDY IS PRESENTATION OF A SIMPLE AND PUNCTUAL METHOD FOR RECOGNITION AND DETERMINING OF THESE COMPOUNDS IN INSECTICIDES WITH GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY (GC). WE PROVIDED THE INSECTICIDE SPRAY FROM PEYKAR COMPANY THAT WAS CONTAINING THESE FOUR COMPOUNDS. THE CONTENTS OF SPRAY WERE TRANSFERRED TO EARLEN MAYER AND ANHYDROUS SODIUM SULFATE WITHOUT WATER WAS ADDED TO THIS. AN ALIQUOT AMOUNT OF THIS SAMPLE WAS TRANSFERRED TO VOLUMETRIC BALLOON AND WAS CAME OF SPECIFIED VOLUME WITH INTERNAL STANDARD.1ΜL FROM THIS SAMPLE WAS INJECTED TO GC. DIFFERENT CONCENTRATION OF EACH STANDARD COMPOUNDS (D-ALLETHRINE, TETRAMETHRINE, CYPERMETHRINE AND PIPRONYLBUTOXIDE) WERE PREPARED. AMINO ANTI PYRINE WAS USED AS INTERNAL STANDARD (IS). 1ΜL FROM EACH OF THEM WAS INJECTED TO GC INSTRUMENT THREE TIMES AND STANDARD CURVE WAS DRAWN FOR EACH OF THEM. WE USED A UNIT OF GC, HP-6890 MODEL AND A HP-5 COLUMN WITH 30M LENGTH, INTERNAL DIAMETER 250Μ AND FID DETECTOR. A LINEAR REGRESSION AND GOOD REPRODUCIBILITY (R 2 >0.99 AND %CV<10) IN ALL OF FOUR CURVE WE OBTAINED. THE TITLE COMPOUNDS COULD BE DETERMINED WITH A HIGH ACCURACY AND PRECISION BY GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY (GC). TOTALLY, THIS IS A SIMPLE METHOD WITH A HIGH ACCURACY AND PRECISION AND IT CAN USE NOT ONLY FOR THESE COMPOUNDS BUT ALSO FOR ALL OF THE ANALOGOUS COMPOUNDS.&NBSP;
