THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GROUP REMINISCENCE ON HYPOCHONDRIASIS AND ANXIETY OF MENOPAUSE WOMEN

Abstract: 

Background and Objective: Menopause is thought to be a vulnerable period in women, that women are with new difficulties faced And lives. This study aimed to investigate the effect of reminiscence therapy on postmenopausal women with anxiety disorders and anxiety disorders city of Ilam.
Method: In this clinical trial, 30 postmenopausal women based on convenience sampling selected and randomly divided into control and intervention groups Hypochndryasis and anexiety scores were measured before intervention, and after the end of intervention.
Group discussions were held for the control group. Data were collected using questionnaires anexiety zong and hypochondriasis Myers. And analysis of covariance test, and SPSS version 19 were used Results: Analysis of data showed that integrative reminiscence therapy led to significant reduction in symptoms of anexiety and hypochondriasis. There was no significant difference between reminiscence therapy group and control group.
Conclusion: group reminiscence are effective in discreasing the postmenopausal women Anexiety and hypochondriasis scores. However; therefore, it can be an inexpensive way to discrease the vitality of the postmenopausal women with no side-effects.
